Whole Foods // Banana Bread
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp flax
- 1/3 cup plant milk
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp nut butter of choice
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3-4 mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup sweetener (I use maple syrup or cane sugar!)
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1.5 cups flour (I usually do 1/2 cup oat + 1 cup spelt or whole wheat! – feel free to mix / match with your favorite flours!)
- Add ins: cinnamon, apple, blueberry, chocolate chip, raisins etc! Any flavors you love!
Instructions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350F and line your bread pan with parchment paper or lightly oil.
- Combine vinegar and milk in a bowl and let sit for 1-2 min.
- Add in the rest of the liquid ingredients and combine.
- In another bigger bowl sift together or mix together dry ingredients and pour wet ingredients in!
- Transfer to the pan and bake for about 40-45 minutes.
- Cool for about 20 min before popping out and slicing up!
- Store in an air tight container for 1-2 days at room temp, up to a week in the fridge and up to 2 months in the freezer!
