Oil Free Granola Bar

Oil Free Granola Bar

These are so delicious, chewy and versatile – you can change up the flavor combos to your own taste! These are about 1/4 the price of most bars you find out at stores + contain no oil/refined sugar/salt etc! Just whole foods (+ some choco chips if you want!)
INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 tbsp peanut butter (or tahini!)
  • 1 mashed banana or 3/4 medjool dates
  • 1.5 cup oats
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup nuts / seeds / coconut etc (I only had hemp) but would normally use a mix of nuts and seeds!
  • 1/4 – 1/2 choco chips or cacao nibs (can omit!)
  • Feel free to add any other flavors!
  • A high speed blender or food processor (I used my vitamix!)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375F.
  2. Pour oats + nuts + dates (or banana – but I would use dates if you can!) in your high speed blender or food processor and pulse/blend until they are broken up (don’t blend too long!!)
  3. Add in nut butter + maple syrup and blend it up again! You might need to stop the blender and scrape / mash to get it flowing!
  4. Line an 8×8 baking sheet with parchment paper .. scoop out the sticky mess and try your best to spread evenly!!
  5. Sprinkle choco chips (or other toppings!) on top if you are using them.
  6. Bake at 375F for 25-30 min
