Healthy Cookie Dough

I have made this before and eaten it as a topping for banana whip – like choco chip cookie dough ice cream.. it is great as a snack or topping for oats, banana whip etc! 
Ingredients:

  • 15 oz can organic/no salt chick peas
  • 1/4 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • choco chips (optional!)

Instructions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except the choco chips in a food processor and blend until smooth.
  2. Stir in choco chips by hand.
  3. Chill in the fridge for about an hour!

NOTE: Make sure to rinse chick peas very well .. and you can peel them for a smoothie texture but that is also a lot of work 😛
