PETAL CBD Cinna-bun Bread

Cinnamon Bun Bread infused with the healing power of CBD – enough said… rich, moist, sweet and with a creamy sweet maple cinnamon cream cheese-like drizzle on top!
Ingredients:
WET:
WET:
- 1 cup milk (I used vanilla almond!)
- 2 dropper fulls of 1000mg Petal Cinnamon CBD (USE CODE STELLA20 FOR 20% OFF!)
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1/3 cup sugar – I used date sugar but coconut sugar, brown sugar, cane sugar etc will work well!
- 1/4 cup apple sauce, nut butter or oil. You can mix and match any of these (1/2 oil and 1/2 apple sauce etc!)
- 1 tsp vanilla
DRY:
- 2 cups flour (I used bob’s gluten free)
- 1 tbsp egg replacer or starch (again, I used bob’s!)
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
CINNAMON SUGAR SWIRL:
- 3 TBSP brown, cane or coconut sugar etc.
- 1-2 tsp cinnamon
Directions:
- Line, spray or oil a baking loaf pan and pre-heat oven to 350F.
- Mix milk + vinegar in a dish and let sit for about 2 min.
- Add the rest of the ‘wet’ ingredients and mix well – make sure sugar is broken up (it will not dissolve entirely!)
- Mix together dry ingredients in a bigger bowl – pour wet into dry and mix well.
- Mix together cinnamon sugar swirl in a small dish.
- Pour half the batter into baking dish and sprinkle 1/2 the cinnamon sugar mixture on top .. pour the rest of the batter and the rest of the cinnamon sugar on top.
- Take a thin knife and swirl the cinnamon sugar / batter in the baking dish creating the SWiRL!… making sure the knife touches the bottom and you mix well (doesn’t have to be perfect though!)
- Bake in the oven for roughly 45 minutes.
- Maple Cinnamon Cream: Soak 1/2 cup raw cashews in 1/2 cup plant milk for at least 1 hour. Add this mixture + 2 tsp cinnamon + 2 tbsp maple syrup into high speed blender and puree until smooth. Add more liquid to make it thinner and more cashews to make it thicker!
