PETAL CBD Cinna-bun Bread

Cinnamon Bun Bread infused with the healing power of CBD – enough said… rich, moist, sweet and with a creamy sweet maple cinnamon cream cheese-like drizzle on top! 
Ingredients:
WET:

 

DRY:

  • 2 cups flour (I used bob’s gluten free)
  • 1 tbsp egg replacer or starch (again, I used bob’s!)
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt

 

CINNAMON SUGAR SWIRL:

  • 3 TBSP brown, cane or coconut sugar etc.
  • 1-2 tsp cinnamon

 

Directions: 

  1. Line, spray or oil a baking loaf pan and pre-heat oven to 350F. 
  2. Mix milk + vinegar in a dish and let sit for about 2 min.
  3. Add the rest of the ‘wet’ ingredients and mix well – make sure sugar is broken up (it will not dissolve entirely!) 
  4. Mix together dry ingredients in a bigger bowl – pour wet into dry and mix well. 
  5. Mix together cinnamon sugar swirl in a small dish. 
  6. Pour half the batter into baking dish and sprinkle 1/2 the cinnamon sugar mixture on top .. pour the rest of the batter and the rest of the cinnamon sugar on top.
  7. Take a thin knife and swirl the cinnamon sugar / batter in the baking dish creating the SWiRL!… making sure the knife touches the bottom and you mix well (doesn’t have to be perfect though!) 
  8. Bake in the oven for roughly 45 minutes.
  9. Maple Cinnamon Cream: Soak 1/2 cup raw cashews in 1/2 cup plant milk for at least 1 hour. Add this mixture + 2 tsp cinnamon + 2 tbsp maple syrup into high speed blender and puree until smooth. Add more liquid to make it thinner and more cashews to make it thicker!
